The Fuel Series: Blueberry Acai Bowl

We've had the amazing opportunity catch up with a top chef who has worked with athletes in the National Hockey League and the National Football League. Here is our favorite pre-grame snack. 



2 packs frozen acai

½ c frozen blueberries

1 ripe banana

2 T coconut water

½ c granola

½ c berries



3 ½ c rolled oats

½ c pumpkin seeds

1 c almonds

½ c dates, pitted

1 t vanilla

½ c water


Granola: Preheat oven to 350. Blend dates, vanilla and water until smooth. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, pumpkin seeds and almonds. Fold in date mixture until evenly incorporated. Lay flat on a cookie sheet and bake for 25-35 minutes, stirring every 7 minutes until crispy.


Blend acai, blueberry, banana and coconut water in a high-powered blender until smooth. Pour into a cereal bowl and top with granola and blueberries.
