Hike | Red Rocks
While at night Red Rocks Amphitheater is an iconic concert venue, during the day it is a favorite spot to exercise and hike just outside the city. DAY 3
Boulder Day Trip
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, Boulder is consistently named one of the best small towns in America. Even if you only have 3 days in the mile-high city a day trip to Boulder is a must do for any outdoor enthusiast. Located 30 minutes north of Denver, Boulder is protected by a greenbelt of open space that covers two thirds of the Boulder Valley preserving its natural beauty and small-town charm. Parking can be an issue in this small town so if you don’t want to worry about driving, the Flatiron Flyer is a cheap and clean alternative that runs from Union Station in Denver to downtown Boulder.

The Iconic flatirons of Chautauqua park are the pride of Boulder. There are many routes to choose but one of the most popular is the First-Second Flatiron Trail (1.1 mi; 960 ft.) See the website or stop by the ranger station at the base of the park for a map. Bring a camera, water and sunscreen!
